XLM Stellar Assets
Stellar assets are digital representations of real-world assets, such as currencies, commodities, or other financial instruments, that are issued on the Stellar network. These assets use the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) to enable near-instant and low-cost transactions, making them ideal for cross-border payments and remittances.
The native asset of the Stellar network is called Lumens (XLM), but Stellar also supports the creation and issuance of other assets by trusted entities. These assets are represented as tokens and can be traded and transferred on the Stellar network.
